Rat Cat Hogan is Herbert Bergel (vocals, guitar) and Robbie Skrocki (drums). The band was formed in Seattle in 1997, and has since released a whole lot of albums, the latest being Farm and Swim in 2006. On most albums, the duo is joined by Sean Nelson of Harvey Danger and Chris Walla of Death Cab for Cutie. Bergel's lyrics are often very tongue-in-cheek and the band's sound is best described as drum-driven lo-fi indie rock.
