RastaPimp is a British-Carribean producer/rapper, and a major pioneer in the rap scene of Peterborough, UK (or Ptown). RastaPimp is an experimental artist/producer who makes music that contains elements from a vast array of genres, namely electronic genres such as jungle, dubstep and breakbeat but also many other genres such as funk, soul, grime, trip-hop and punk rock. RastaPimp’s true signature sound though is classic 90s boom bap. RastaPimp combines lighthearted human with songs of a dark undertone bridging the gap between deep music and casual music.
