DJ Raneem is Ranim Hallab, born in Tripoli, the northern city of Lebanon. Ranim first discovered his love for music when watching his cousin mixing tracks together – this is where it all began. Without taking music lessons, and by using his own sharp musical skills – as well as a good ear for electronic sounds – Ranim learned to produce his own trance tracks starting in 2004. As time went by, what started as a hobby became a passion, and at the present time he is working both in Djing and music production. On the Djing side, Raneem hosts two monthly trance shows: Beirut On Fire, broadcast every 2nd Friday at 3 pm GMT on AH.FM, and Mental Paralysis, which can be heard every 3rd Friday at 6 pm GMT on SENSE.FM. As far as producing goes, Raneem is currently signed to PROXOZ Recordings, Australia, and is working on more of his own productions and remixes that will be released soon. Stay tuned!
