Randi DeBoy is an acoustic, alternative rock singer from Los Angeles, CA, United States in 2009. Randi has always been fascinated with music and has wanted to be in a band since she was a young'n. So one day when she was 11, she asked her dad to teach her guitar, to which he obliged, and there was much rejoicing. Actually, there was much cringing as with any beginner player. But almost 15 years later (okay, 13 if you're gonna get specific), she's improved and even writes her own songs. Go ahead, have a listen... I'll wait......................... good! On the verge of almost finishing up college, she realized she'd given up on her dreams and decided to give it a shot before it's too late, so she wrote some songs and recorded a demo in December of 2009. It's called Randi TheGirl. Catchy, huh? Then she traveled the world doing nothing music related, worked as a substitute teacher (which lead her to realize that NOTHING could be more difficult), and moved to LA to pursue her dreams. She doesn't really talk in a narrative form, referring to herself as Randi. It just sounds better and more professional when she writes like it's someone else, such as Morgan Freeman, is telling her life story and not her.
