Artist
Randel Binaday is a student in his last year at Christian Brothers' College, Adelaide and a budding musician as well as an amateur skateboarder. Randel was born on the 20th of February 1990 to Philippino parents Vicente and Rosario. He currently resides in his birth place in the south-western suburbs of Adelaide with his parents and two younger brothers Ronaldo and Roberto. His whole life Randel has admired the skilled workings of Mexican-born guitarist Carlos Santana. Being greatly influenced by Santana and his blends of rock, blues, and jazz fusion, the stylings of Santana are quite evident some of Randel's songs. Other bands that Randel is infleunced by are Breaking Benjamin, Faktion and Lifehouse. Mr Binaday's music is restricted greatly by his heavy studies, and to a degree, lack of proper music recording equipment. Randel still stays an unsigned artist with no albums or EPs as such, but the next year will define how far he his musical talents will take him. Binaday currently uses an Ibanez GAX, coupled with a Roland Cube-30 and Boss FS-5L. His music editing is done with very limited resources on an old Hewlett Packard computer using the a combination of audio manipulation programs; Audacity, Cubase, and Sonar.
