Artist
Description taken from the 1983 L.A. Mantra compilation insert: "Rand Kennedy has lived in Los Angeles most of his life, surveying the modern milieu in vivid style for the past few years. In 1980, he began work on a collection of several pieces of poetry set to music, entitled "Scenes of Redemption" from which "Enorma Jones" is taken. "Smith's Room" is a later piece showing a more reflective side. Recently, Rand has begun performance-accompaniment. A lover of jazz and soul, Rand currently resides in Hollywood. He has plan of releasing "Scenes" in the near future and will also appear on an upcoming release of L.A. poets entitled 'Voices of Angels.'"
