Ramin Rahimi is a percussionist and songwriter. His music mostly focused on drums and Iranian Percussions Daf and Tombak. Ramin Rahimi ( born 1969 ) has been a professional drums and percussion player for eighteen years.He also played cello with the Tehran Symphony Orchestra for some years. In 1998 he established Ramin Rahimi's ' Tapesh ' , a unique all-percussion band.In the studio he plays most of the instruments himself but for live concerts Tapesh becomes a 25-member ensemble with guest musicians. Tapesh has performed extensively in Iran, including charity concerts to benefit children suffering from cancer. Internationally Tapesh has performed in many countries, including Turkey, Germany, Finland, France, Czech Republic, Armenia, Turkmenistan and Tajikistan. Ramin Rahimi released his first album in Iran in 2007 to great success.That same year he joined Angband, a power metal/progressive band that signed with Pure Steel Reords from Germany and released their debut album ' Rising From Apadana ' in August 2008.hey are the first heavy metal band from Iran to sign with a European record company. In 2008 Ramin began work on the second Angband album ' Visions Of The Seeker ' . In 2010 he released his second solo album ' The Pulse Of Persia ' on the ARC Music label, in witch you can find Iranian Rhythms - Global influences, a follow - up to the incendiary Iranian Percussion .he has created a heavily textured exploration of
