There are at least two bands called the Rambling Boys: 1. an English folk, bluegrass, and country band founded in 1967, and 2. a Finnish "free folk blues" band. 1. The Rambling Boys is a quartet playing acoustic folk, bluegrass and country music. Originally started in Nottingham in 1967, they broke up in 1972 when the members' work commitments became too much for them. they continued to play together, ubtil reforming in 1998 when a get-together in Thornbury, South Gloucestershire, led to a Charity gig for the RNLI. Since then they have played occasional gigs in various parts of the country. The members are John Keetley (five-string banjo and guitar, and vocals), Brin Bowen (mandolin and vocals), Mel Cresswell (guitar and lead vocals), and Mick Speake (bass and lead vocals). * Official site 2. The Rambling Boys is a Finnish "free-folk-blues" group. Members: Keijo Virtanen (Keijo), Jari Koho (Vapaa, Tulasi, Kulkija), Jukka Nousiainen (Räjäyttäjät, 3V), Sami Virtanen (Mosaic Antenna), Lauri Puttonen.
