Mysteries of Ramar Estates… REVEALED!! Q: What kind of name is Ramar Estates? It sounds more like a neighborhood than a band. A: Very insightful! We actually took our name from a neighborhood in Springfield, OH where we all used to live at one time or another. Q: Who do you think you are?! A: We’re pretty sure we are Pat Gnau, Justin Handley, and Sam Monroe. Q: And what gives you the right? A: Uh, pass. Next question? Q: So what makes Ramar Estates different? Or are you the same ol’ 4-chord dribble drabble? A: Well, we like to think we write a variety of styles, although we’re not above writing songs with only four chords. We each have a lot of varied influences so we hope to bring a sonic smorgasbord to your ear’s stomach. Or something. Q: Your lead singer sounds different in different songs. A: Well, that’s not really a question; however you make a good observation. Generally whichever of us writes the song also sings lead but this isn’t always the case. Sometimes, whoever wrote the song gets very lazy and strong arms one of the other members to sing it. Somehow, it turns out pretty well! Q: So are you guys any good? A: Well, hopefully we won’t screw up like John Lennon and say we’re bigger than Jesus. But it’s probably safe to say that we’re currently the 11th most popular band to be named after a neighborhood in Springfield, Ohio! Q: How would you describe your music?
