Ralph Saenz is currently the lead singer of Steel Panther. He's best known under his stage name Michael Starr as the frontman for 80's hair metal cover/parody band Metal Skool who in 2008 changed the band name to Steel Panther. He was also the lead singer for Van Halen cover band Atomic Punks until 2008. In 1999, he was the singer for L.A. Guns, performing only on one EP, "Wasted" with them. As a solo artist, Ralph has appeared on several tribute albums, performing "Don't Let It End" on a Styx tribute, and "Be Good to Yourself" on a Journey tribute album, among others.
