Ralph Nail comes from a nice middle class family from Hainburg/Danube/Austria and was born on the 18th of February 1955. When he was three years old, he moved with his parents and sister to Vienna, where the family settled down in Döbling. In the local school it was apparent to his teacher that his talent lay in music and his teacher suggested that he becomes a Mozart Choirboy. For the young Ralph this was only the beginning and his musical talent was already marking his future. In 1970 he founded his own band named “Solar Plexus”. In these early beginnings, Ralph Nail obtained his first experience on stage and enjoyed his first successes.
