The Elephant Collective is the side project of Ralph Beeby, better known as the bass player with Cherry White. Since commencing work in the summer of 2017, the collective has released a single (Animal, September 2017), and an EP (First Light) of five original songs. The nature of the "collective" is considered to be quite nebulous. It is normally referred to as a group in blog posts and social media updates, however the releases to date have credited Beeby as the only performer. There have been no official live shows to date, but appearances at various "open mic" events have variously featured Beeby playing solo, and performing with other unnamed musicians.
