Mr. Rabendorn is a multi-instrumentalist, singer and photographer, born in Germany in the 1970's. His solo work as "Ralf Rabendorn" started with experimental sounds and songs (experimental rock, industrial, ambient, post rock, avant-garde etc) with more spoken words oriented vocals (he only wanted to speak his poems), though he was always involved in regular bands and projects (classic rock, noise rock, alternative, even pop rock bands) under different names. He is now melting together different styles of music in his new releases, he sings more in new songs but he is also working on new experimental songs and albums. He always tries not to repeat himself. "You should never know what is coming next, like in real life" he once wrote. Borderliner? Asperger? Human being out or in norms? Who knows?! Diagnostics doesn't mean that much. Ralf Rabendorn is also known for his work with experimental and dark band Testphasen negativ , Steinrausch, Schabe, Silverfox, Lunalilith, and for working with the German underground label ContraMusikProduktion and for being a foundation member (together with Iri Li) of Infinitus Ensemble, who invented the (anti)genre/ movement MedusaDa. Actually many of these experimental bands and projects came out when he took a break from his regular rock bands and projects.
