Ralegh Long (born January 2, 1986), who also performs as Eagle Lake and Kyūka, is a composer and multi-instrumentalist from London, United Kingdom. Eagle Lake is signed to Musicbed who curates music for filmmakers and creatives. Raised in the English countryside, Long's music is inspired by his childhood experiences of exploring fields and streams, often recorded on a 1970s reel-to-reel tape recorder gifted by a neighbor. In November 2010 he released his debut single, 'Shtick' under his own name. The song featured a captivating blend of simple melodies, unique sonics, and introspective lyrics centered around the essence of life. In 2015, Long released his debut album titled "Hoverance," which garnered comparisons to the likes of Nick Drake. The album received praise from prominent figures in the music industry, including Lauren Laverne and Guy Garvey on BBC6 Music, as well as The Guardian, which applauded its "twilit ambience" and "spooky pastoralism." His second album, "Upwards of Summer" (2017), caught the attention of Elton John, further solidifying Long's presence in the music scene. Alongside his album releases, Long contributed to the scores of BAFTA-nominated films "Black Pond" and "The Darkest Universe."
