Rakiyah (United States, November 27, 1992) is an American R&B singer. After studying science and engineering in both the US and South Korea, R&B singer-songwriter Rakiyah, makes another debut with her own reinvented sound of Alternative and Smooth R&B. At a young age, the New Jersey native was inspired by artist such as Erykah Badu and Lauryn Hill, creating a template for her experimental sound in R&B. While many listeners would describe her vocals as celestial and earthly, they’d say she also holds her own lane in Hip Hop, and are excited to see her growth for the next years to come.
