RAIK & THE CHAINBALLS - BERLIN ROCKABILLY Rock&Roll comes in many different kinds and most of the time, the boundaries between DooWop, Psycho-, Neo-, Hill- and Rockabilly are clear-cut. But why restrict to just one style? If a band writes its repertoire completely by themselves -like Raik & the Chainballs do- it might just as well be the rockin'est mix! And that's just the way for Raik (gt / voc / har), Olli (lead.gt / voc), Shadow (b) and Till (dr) to give Rock&Roll something in return. Moreover it is taking them places too: in the last years numerous concerts have been played with the Stray Cats, the Caravans and the Rockabilly Mafia amongst many others. Last year they also made a nice little trip to Holly Burnette's (Mad Sin) famous studio in Berlin. There they recorded 14 killer tracks resulting in an independent, self-released production, which -from now on- needs immense pushing by anybody with a love for rockabilly music. On these recordings Miss Britta Redfire is showing off on the drums and Metin -who is a Gunslinger now- is all over the place with his jazz-styled licks on lead guitar. Contact us!
