1) Ragz is a singer/songwriter born and raised in a land coloured by northern lights and fairytale creatures. With her rich, sustained voice, skilled musicianship and gorgeous, occasionally dark music, Ragz has gained many fans and favourable comparisons to, amongst others, Joni Mitchell, Feist and even Jeff Buckley. She has cemented herself into the musical folklore of her current hometown, Liverpool, and developed her craft on stages across the UK, supporting artists including Laura Marling, Noah and the Whale, Mumford and Sons, Adem, Karima Francis, IanMcNabb and David Ford. After a busy 2008, which included the eagerly awaited release of the Little Stings EP, an extensive tour of the UK and Norway earlier in the year was followed by another mini-tour towards the end of 2008. nicely book-ended a relatively low-key summer spent recording demos.
