Rag and Bone is a musical group based in Nijmegen, the Netherlands. Formed in 2007 rag and Bone is named after the discharged and sometimes broken belongings that were collected by the Rag and Bone man, to be fixed and re-used into a new product. Similar to this is the music of Rag and Bone: melodies and rhythms from folk, blues, world music and jazz are recycled and combined in a new, pure sound, in where you can still hear the original rawness. From all this Rag and bone makes a quilt of beautiful songs, that although sound differently, together form a warm unity.
