Radiotrip is Schoolmaster and Mixmonster, aka Israeli DJ/producers Ofer Tal and Uri Wertheim. Working in the tradition of the hiphop cutup/mixtape, their latest promo release 'Music Heads' sees them using hundreds of vinyl snippets from their vast collections, weaved into 12 individual tracks which echo practitioners in the genre such as Double Dee and Steinski, Cut Chemist, Strictly Kev and Kid Koala. As part of the funk-jazz-scratch band The Apples, Schoolmaster cuts live alongside DJ Eres Todres, while Mixmonster applies live effects to the outfit. Based in Tel Aviv, Tal and Wertheim are both long-time record diggers. They won the third place in the City DJ ("DJ Ha Ear") awards in the hip-hop and funk category in 2005, and Tal won the Israeli Freestyle DJ Championship in the same year.
