Radiation 10 are representatives of the youngest and freshest generation of musicians to come out of France. Having grown up in various different parts of the country, the nine met through the Paris-based music collective “Coax” and set up this orchestra in 2006. One of the surprising specificities about RADIATION 10 is its orchestral attributes, compiling punch and flexibility of a small band with sound wealth of a massive orchestra. Its uncommon instrumentation evolves between all-electric and acoustics. RADIATION 10 claims a music with no leader and no border, mixing jazz, Progressive rock, chamber music, industrial, with huge tendence to improvising. The multiplicity of instrumental combinations allows a free and inventive musical purpose.
