Being a well-known composer in New Zealand, Radha is sometimes known by her maiden name, Radha Wardrop, though increasingly she uses her career name, Radha Sahar. Her background includes tutoring at Nelson School of Music, Kindergarten teaching, music therapy, interactive performance work, painting and installations. Besides her paintings and installations, Radha has made a few musical records of her own, such as The Maiden: Echoes of Celtic Mysticism and Joan of Arc. They both focus on relaxing and meditative music based on choral singing and neo-classical composing.
