From http://www.jmignited.com/ryotheskywalker.php RYO the SKYWALKER is a reggae dance/artist. He first encountered reggae in 1991 and traveled to Jamaica in 1994. When he returned, he was in love with reggae, leading him to travel to Osaka to try off his singing, rhythm, and "sense". At the time, very little reggae was heard of but RYO tried to spread the word. In 1997, he traveled again to Jamaica. Two years later, he signed with the label "casino 891". But it wasn’t until 2000 that he became more known. His first single reached #60 on Oricon and his first album was a success. In 2004, RYO the SKYWALKER founded his own label, BUSH HUNTER MUSIC under the Warner Music Group.
