Rohan is a keyboardist and producer based in Australia. He began his musical training at the age of five, developing a strong foundation influenced by rock and metal. Despite these genres being traditionally guitar-driven, he adopted a distinctive approach by learning and performing guitar riffs and solos on the keyboard, which has significantly shaped his playing style. His artistic direction blends these early influences with synthesis and sound design, resulting in a progressive metal style centered on expressive keyboard performance, characterized by pitch-bending solos and djent-inspired riffs. Since 2020, he has been releasing music as a solo artist under the name RO1. Throughout his career, he has collaborated with notable figures in the genre, including Jordan Rudess (Dream Theater, Liquid Tension Experiment) and Richard Henshall (Haken, Nova Collective).
