RIDER CHIPS is a Japanese hard rock band comprised of Yoshio Nomura (野村義男, Guitar), Koichi Terasawa (寺沢功一, Bass), Satoshi "JOE" Miyawaki (宮脇“JOE”知史, Drums; 2000-2023), and Ricky (Vocals; 2005-Present). With Cher Watanabe (渡部チェル, keyboard) as a session member. RIDER CHIPS was formed to provide songs for the popular Kamen Rider franchise. According to CD jackets, they are the official band of the Kamen Rider franchise since 2000. Originally, the band consisted of only Yoshio, Koichi, and JOE (of ZIGGY). At that time, different vocalists were used periodically (as seen in their Otonagai album). As of 2006, Ricky (formerly of DASEIN) has joined the group full-time as the vocalist.
