R2*D3 was formed on April 4th in 2009 by Guido Laris, and Natalie Subtil, and the band consists of the six members Roberta, Duanna, Brendha, Davi, Douglas, and Rafael. Their debut CD "Nasci Pra Te Amar was finished in December in 2009 and was set to a release in March. But for an unknown reason, the CD didn't come out on the expected date, and was postponed to an unknown release date. The CD is still not out for sale, but the group have uploaded a couple of their songs on Youtube, like Essa Noite, Amizade, and of course their lead single, Nasci Pra Te Amar. Aqui, Fala Fala and Deja Vu was uploaded by the group as well, but they were removed for an unknown reason. A preview of the song, Viva E Me Deixa Viver, has also been uploaded on the groups official youtube account. In the begining, R2*D3 gained alot of hate by fans of the huge, mexican pop phenomenon, RBD, because many fans of RBD thought R2*D3 were copying RBD's style and were concidered as a wananbe cover band. But R2*D3 later proved that they make their own music, in their own way. The song Nasci Pra Te Amar, however, was originally an RBD song called Naci Para Amarte. Both songs were produced by R2*D3's official musical producer, Guido Laris. Guido also produced alot of songs for the pop group RBD.
