There are at least two bands called R.I.O.T. The first was established in the flowering city of Stara Zagora, Bulgaria in October 2000 by school-mates Ivan Ki (bass), Ivan Vassilevich (rhythm guitar) , Nikolai Tsenkov-Djucha (rappin), Nikolay Neychev-Neychev (lead gui) and Stefan Stefanov (drums). Highly influenced by Rage Against the Machine and leftist movements they staged 5 times in Stara Zagora during Youth gatherings, broke some heads, made a pretty low-tech recording of their greatest hits (including a tender “shall we dance” Love Song, classic rapmetal smashing track Otvori ochi (live), angry chalga remix Kati, female fans’ favourite dancing piece Rabotnichki s cherveni potnici, cunning punk cover Britnito and collaborative dizzy gaze Break on thru ft. Gopa & Russnaka) in an epic First and Last album and then fortunately disappeared forever in the blackbox of everyday life engagements. The band was the only live gig entertainment for local rapmetal and crossover fans. R.I.P. The other R.I.O.T was created in the beginning of 2006. 3 out of 4 members of Mind Conspiracy created a band for a music competition, the band was called R.I.O.T. They created a song and played it and they were stuck. The music blew their minds off and they wanted to continue. They realized that Mind Conspiracy's time was up when there was no spark left.
