R U OFF has been producing tracks for nearly 15 years, in the last few years he’s focused on a wide variety of distinct projects including several major productions. In every artist’s journey, there comes a time when a shift of perspective can occur and alter the way they look at life and music. The EP 23 represents that growth for R U OFF as an artist and creator. Combining hip hop, new electronica and classic ambient, he shapes atmospheric soundscapes, that could be described as “music for the future.” As an artist R U OFF elegantly contributes to the cultural milieu of our generation. The minimal yet stringent arrangements allow his songs to breathe, unfolding a unique mood. It's akin to walking through the woods in the early morning, mist spreading through the trees, catching the first rays of daylight. The EP is comprised of five tracks, infused with New York style hip hop beats. The final and sole song on the EP with vocals, features Louisiana Rapper Quadry, leaves the listener curious and excited for what R U OFF will release next.
