Quartzpoeple is a concept that was born after the Dj/Producer Rafi Levin and the Musicin/Producer Vitor Fernandes met in Amsterdam in mid 2007. Both graduates of SAE’s Amsterdam Audio Department, Vitor and Rafi became fascinated, by the precision with which the studio equipment, was synced together, to perform better in the creation of the product. They want to apply the same concept in their effort to synchronize with their audience. Estonian-born DJ/producer Rafi Levin , has built a reputation as a successful DJ and promoter. His resume includes spearheading some of the best promotional teams including Nerve, Steam and The Marlin. He has graced the decks of hot spots across USA including Boston’s The Roxy, Highlands in Los Angeles, Atlanta’s Compound and South Beach’s Rain, Nerve, Steam, Blue and Pawn Shop and many more. Playing alongside respected names from Paolo Mojo, DHM, to Frankie Bones Rafi continues to captivate any room. Vitor Fernandes was born in Portugal in 1984, currently lives in Amsterdam – Netherlands. Drummer, Guitar player, Keys, etc.. Producer, DJ, Audio Engineer, all around guy. He wants to apply his knowledge and help to improve Quartzpeople, by creating a mixture of Analog and Digital performances. Everything started with Grunge bands in Portugal, he had his nuances over Death Metal as well as Psychedelic Trance, Chill-out and Rock-n-Roll, he is currently working in his Bachelor of Recording Arts at SAE.
