Artist
Far from rusted and conventional french songwriting, Quaisoir is as influenced by american folk as by traditional french singers. This original mix between indie pop and french songwriting is clearly and totally unique in France. Not so far from french artists like Dominique A. or Mathieu Boogaerts, Quaisoir a real and solid songwriter, but also a true musician, playing all instruments. He is now backed by a band on his last effort, « Missiles », to be released in 2007. It will be his second release. A first one, bearing the strange and cryptic moniker of « jesuisvivantetvousêtestousmorts » was issued in 2005. Due to economical restraints, he decided to tour in duo in 2007. Quaisoir played as a support band for Dominique A, Tue-Loup, Christophe Mali, Bonnie Prince Billy, Romain Humeau, Luke, Deportivo.
