Q-check is a punk-rock band, formed in 2007 in Sofia, Bulgaria by Orlin Branyakov, Marin Lashev, Lachezar Bosakov and Milko Alexandrov. The band is influenced by many different music styles such as punk, alternative, grunge, gothic metal and ska. Trying to create its own style the band mixes different genres creating two covers of Bulgarian folk songs in punk versions. The band also makes punk covers of very popular disco and dance songs, such as “no limits” by 2 Unlimited , “all that she wants” by Ace of Base and others. Q-check is influenced by bands, such as Rage Against the Machine, Rancid, Type O Negative, NOFX . The band is working now to create their own songs and some will soon be ready. Marin Lashev is also a member of another band called The Headstall. Orlin is a former member of a hip hop band called The 4 big bahurs crew.
