There are at least four bands with the name Pus: A doom/sludge metal band from South Wales with a demo released in 2010 and a debut album in the works A Brutal Death Metal (early), Hardcore with Death Metal influences (later) band from Harjavalta, Satakunta. Started as an inside project by Jarkko Haapala and Jarkko Rännäli (both known from Torsofuck), with the unofficial release of "Cases of Decay" EP in 2000. Later followed by two other EPs: "Mystery" in 2001 and "Serialchillin'" in 2003. In 2017, a compilation of the last 2 EPs - named "Still Stuck in 01-03 (Complete Discography)", with a few bonus tracks combines, was released by Pathologically Explicit Recordings. The project got revived in 2024 with new members (except for Haapala), with releasing a new single "Mutilated Beyond Recognition" the same year. 2024 line-up: Jarkko Haapala - Guitars Karl James - Drums Austin Douglas - Vocals Tomi Isoviita - Bass Former line-up: Jarkko Rännäli - Vocals Jarkko Haapala - Guitars, Bass Janne Heikkonen - Drums, Tambourine Valtteri Salén - Guitars Juha Kivinen - Bass Kari Ylinen - Bass (live) A cross over / grindcore band from San Francisco, CA who released a full length in 2001.
