Purple Strange, from Seattle, WA, United States, is a 'Seattle super group' of sorts. Singer-songwriter Stroud was talking to his drummer friend Matt about recording some songs. Musicians were needed! Kurt Danielson of the mighty TAD was asked to play bass. Kurt suggested Ron Nine of the mighty Love Battery on guitar. The mighty-by-himself Jack Endino was enlisted to engineer, and ended up contributing some guitar too. Suddenly it was a band!
