The Purple Sex Heads (Mutz: guitar & vocals, Maxx: bass, Piet: brushed drums) come up with a very unique and slightly wacky concept of Pop, Rock, Punk and film music. The Purple Sex Heads are mostly interpreting other people's songs, but do so with their own adventurous musical vision. The three so-called „Masters Of Tranquility“ rework original song material by Tom Waits, the Dead Kennedys, The Smiths, Kraftwerk, Kylie Minogue, the Talking Heads, Henry Mancini, The Clash, the Beastie Boys and many more. You'll hear a cool combination of classic Twang guitar, smoothly flowing Lounge-, Surf-, Latin- und „Slo-Mo-Punk/Rock“- grooves and a lead voice that combines it all effortlessly.
