Purple Oliver was born deep in the heart of Texas. The act is made up of only two artists, J.E. (guitar) and M.E. (vocals). Their music is created from the soul. It is completely raw, extremely rare, but most importantly it is real. Purple Oliver has been playing Live Improv music for over 20 years. They call it Live Improv music because this act does not write down their music. They do not sit for long hours in a recording studio. They just gather together with other known artists and create a piece of musical art. It is all experimental and all freestyle. Purple Oliver's goal is to make music that satisfies the thirsty ear. Whether it be from a random chord change or a strong vocal rasp. Their music challenges the limitations of what music is today.
