Born in Lake Arthur, La. [June 22, 1955] Performed at music festivals as a teenager such as "Fur and Wildlife Festival" in Cameron, La. Also performed at Teenage venues. He studied music at University of Southwestern Louisiana, "Rajin Cajuns." Later studied with Dinos Constantinides at Louisiana State University where he had several world premieres of classical works: String Quarter #1. Composed several works for small ensemble. ALso studied electronic Music with Steven David Beck (Pierre Boulez) at LSU in the Electro-Acoustics Lab. Shortly after LSU he attended UCLA Extension and studied with Scott Smalley , orchestrator for Batman, Lonesome Dove; Jerry Grant. At the same time studied with Jack Smalley and others at USC FIlm Scoring program: Leonard Rosenman, Elmer Bernstein, Buddy Baker (Orchestrator for Walt Disney), Larry Blank. During that year he recorded frequently at Private Island Tracks in Hollywood (Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, etc.) After UCLA, he scored many short films for animators and other short films and documentaries. Attended SongU.com where he learned Songwriting with Jai Josefs, Sara Light and others. He presently writes film cues for Composers Collective and other multimedia opportunities.
