Punks Jump Up are Londoner Joe Attard and Swede David Andersson. Taking a love of The Clash, 909s, Nike trainers and Stussy rings, they've pushed their sound in various directions, from punk-funk to speed garage. Best known as remixers (Gossip, Digitalism, Peter Bjorn and John), they've kept an album under wraps for a long time now, subject to constant revision as their style evolves. Releases include Be You (Cassette), and Dance To Our Disco (Kitsuné) featuring Pelle Almqvist from The Hives. Their own Cassette label has released 12s by Simian Mobile Disco, Springmine Disaster, Sci-Fi-Skane, Meat Boys, Elektrofant...
