PuertoRican Masters is a group of well known Salsa musicians that have been a fundamental element in the development of the genre in Puerto Rico and throughout the world going back three decades, earning the much deserved title of "Salsa Masters". The PuertoRican Masters Orchestra is conducted by Luis "Perico" Ortiz, a member of "Fania All Stars" and one of the main figures in the development of the Salsa genre in the '70's. PuertoRican Masters is a musical concept that covers Salsa’s greatest hits, played with the original arrangements and performed by the "Salsa Masters", in must cases the original singer. This meeting of “Salsa Masters” revives the hits of outstanding figures such as Tito Puente, Tito Rodríguez, Celia Cruz, Rolando La Serie, Frankie Ruiz, Rubén Blades, Ricardo Rey, Bobby Cruz, Roberto Roena, El Gran Combo, Sonora Ponceña, Marvin Santiago, Bobby Valentín and Luis "Perico" Ortiz among others. PuertoRican Masters has been the orquetra in high caliber events such as Ray Barretos's 50Th Anniversary Concert, featuring Rubén Blades, Tito Nieves, Adalberto Santiago and Tito Allen , Tribute to Marvin Santiago Concert, featuring such artists as Oscar D' León, Andy Montañez and Domingo Quiñones, among others.
