Puddu Varano was a duo consisting of Alex Puddu and Morten Varano hailing from Copenhagen, Denmark. They got together in 1997, and released their debut album Freakuency in 1998. In 2000 they left the The Chemical Brothers-inspired sound a little and made way for a more disco'er feel on Star 70. The duo's last album, Time To Grow, was released in 2002 to great acclaim and drew heavy inspiration from Mr Varano's flirtations with latin and especially afro music. In March 2003 they decided to go their separate ways. Puddu Varano are now known as simply Varano.
