Public Pervert is a rock band formed in Lisbon, PT in 2007. Positive Perversion, we share our music for fun and joy for the music, but we also care to appoint some aspects on our society. Thanks to our broad life experience and living in a global world, we always felt difficulty to characterize our sound...ok, Progressive Rock would be fine. Today we are 4 musicians, but at the beginning (September, 2007), we were three: Nuno at the guitar, Pedro on the piano and Ricardo back in the drums, started doing some noise in Plum Tree Studio, searching for a different sound (Recycle Jesus is the example). During 2008, Cláudio joined to bring some consistency to our music on his bass. By that time we already created several musics, but without the vocals. For that, we tried hard to find The Voice, but weren’t successful. So, we decided to bring freshness and experience to our music, and invited several musicians from other bands: Sky, Dinho (New Mecanica), Nuno Fadigas (Dr. Zilch) and Rute Fevereiro (Enchatya & Black Widows) gave a big help and brought what was needed to finalize our music’s for our first EP “Questiong Beliefs”. It was by 2009 that we record, mix and masterized our EP “Questioning Beliefs”. Official release by October 31st, 2009.
