Psyclo is a Chinese singer-songwriter, record producer, and audio engineer based in Los Angeles. Psyclo was born on February 9, 1997, in Yingkou, China, and raised by her grandparents; she moved to her parents' city, Shenyang, China, with her grandpa at 5 for school. Psyclo didn't grow up with a musical background; she dedicated most of her early life to school; even though she was forced to take piano lessons when she was young, music was never her interest. Dreaming about being an actor, Psyclo was determined to find her path; she went to Hollywood, the center of the film industry, for college. After getting her bachelor's degree in filmmaking and directing/screenwriting, the film industry was the perfect way for Psyclo to uncover a lifelong passion. Yet it only became a stepping stone towards something she'd never imagined — music. Music became an essential medium for Psyclo to explore self-understanding and to speak her soul’s language.
