Psycho Poetry is an unsigned punk rock band from Sundsvall, Sweden. Formed in 2000 and recorded their first demo (self titled) one year later. It received great response from all over Sweden and Psycho Poetry was entitled “Demo band of the year 2002” in Close-Up Magazine. After that, both the drummer and the guitarplayer were replaced and the sound developed. Two demos later, they are stronger than ever and have been performing a lot, acting as support for great punk bands such as Asta Kast, Hanson Brothers, Coca Carola and Mimikry. Psycho Poetry has also been seen at festivals such as Augustibuller (2005), Sundsvalls Gatufest (2002, 2004) and Storsjöyran (2003). Psycho Poetry is always developing and it seems like they can’t get enough of inspiration and influences. They are making strong impressions on their audience by good musicianship, innovative song writing and characteristic performances.
