Doug ironside-drums,bass,vocals,guitar. 2002-2007. -------------------------------------------------- Psychic Date is the brain-child of Peter Jones;guitarist/vocalist from Australian noise bands Jeffrey Jeffrey Hysterectomy and Whore and English bands Tongueman,Love Sex Death and Dropouts.Formed in Sydney in 1996 with drummer John Murphy [SPK,Death in June,Knifeladder] Psychic Date played an uncompromising loop-driven amped-up brand of improvised music unfamiliar to the rock-crowd but finding favour with the more left-field,avante-garde music lover.This led to shows on the first three 'What is Music' festivals and support slots with Mr Bungle off-shoots Secret Chiefs and Faxed Head on their Australian tours.Psychic Date have recorded two albums -'At Home at the Institution' and '45' which will be available on-line on their soon to be launched web-site with downloads available here on myspace also.Recently in september'october 20
