Psychedelic Dream Temple (commonly abbreviated to PDT) were a band which was made up of James Foster (Guitar), Brett Taylor (guitar), Daniel Kirk (Bass) and Ben Measures (drums), all of which are from a little town called Whitwick in Leicestershire, UK. The band was formed from the ashes of the band "Frett Mate" after the bassist Nathan Beniston (known as Beno) left the band. Kirk later replaced him and joined the band in their early stages. The band record in Kirk's attic studio where they lived most of the time. They are a mixture of post rock and math rock with influences ranging from the likes of Fight Fire With Water, 65daysofstatic, Caspian, Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin. They split up mid 2007 after gaining moderate success and a small fan base around their local town. An attempt to reform was tried early 2008, with new material being wrote, but they gave up and split for good.
