Prose in Rosette is a Modern Rock Act composed, arranged, tracked, performed and mixed by Douglas Jay Hertel. The project was established as an experimental exploration within Douglas' ability to multi-track and perform three essential instruments, guitar, bass and keyboards. The project touches all kinds of rock as well as electronic genres, mostly focusing on real audio recordings of instruments performed and tracked. The end product of what is created has the characteristics and appearance of a four-five piece rock band with vocals, all accomplished within a DAW environment whether it be GarageBand or Pro Tools.
