Jonah's musical roots stem from a mixture of playing multiple instruments, writing lyrics, and writing original songs with his grade school/high school band. Throughout high school, his love for hip-hop and producing rap beats, and his new found talent in DJing, led him to bring together his first DJ Duo, sPlash. Numerous original releases and remixes later, sPlash signed their first two record contracts in 2014 and performed at numerous venues, events, and festivals along the way. Upon moving to Indianapolis to study Recording Industry Studies at Butler University, Jonah found his niche in a more cultured realm of dance music, thriving off of Hip-Hop influenced Tropical House and Zouk Bass. It wasn't long before Proppa was born, and held his live performance debut at Mojostock Music Festival in Indianapolis.
