Project Omeaga was initiated when there was material to be released, which did not live up to the expectations of a reguler Meagashira track. The tracks were more experimental, emptier and having less structure. The first example of this new ‘genre’ is Prozac-Attack, released on enzyme 04. A hardcore track can’t possibly get any emptier. The follow-up Prednison-Attack was to become a smash hit, bit it was made as an experimental stomper. Nowadays, the Project Omeaga project allows for more frequent releases, as shown on the VIP series, where 4 ‘Attack’ tracks were released on white vinyl. Real experimental tracks were released on enzyme 10 and enzyme 15, in the form of ‘…for Enzyme X’ and ‘Miss Parkinson’.
