A master teacher and natural healer, Frank Natale has been a prominent figure in alternative education for over thirty years. He was known as a charismatic and provocative teacher who had the capacity to draw from the complex realities of psychology, spirituality, shamanism and music and combine the essence of those in a powerful way. Early on in life, still a young man, he had the extraordinary chance to meet and work with some of the key pioneers of the human potential movement, which was the beginning of humanistic psychology. He was on stage with Abraham Maslow, founder of Psychodrama, spent time in the hot tubs of Big Sur, Esalen with Fritz Perls (founder of Gestaltherapy) and was one of the first encounter-therapists, trained by Chuck Dederick (founder of the Encounter Movement). As co-founder and clinical director of Phoenix-House, the first drug free therapeutic-community in New York, he gained international reputation. For many years he was a close disciple of Baba Muktananda. His own Institute, The Natale Institute (TNI), founded in Houston Texas in 1982, had representations in all five continents at its high time. From 1987-1997 Natales main focus was his presence in Europe, especially in Germany, Italy and France.
