There are multiple artists sharing the name Proc: 1) Proc is a producer and rapper from based out of Denver, Colorado. 2) Proc is a Bronx-based experimental electronic artist. 1) Proc is an independent artist based out of Denver, Colorado, and he has been producing and rapping since 2003. His first released music came with the group f.e.w. After producing two albums for the group, 2003's Through The Fourth Window and 2006's Second Nature, he began work on a solo album. Proc released his debut Evening in late 2009. Whereas his recordings with f.e.w often yielded more pop-oriented results, Evening presents a more straightforward, almost purist approach to rap music, reminiscent of the grit and lyrical density heard in the early-to-mid-nineties. It follows, then, that Proc cites Nas, Gang Starr and the Wu-Tang Clan among his many influences. He hopes to follow in that tradition through his brand of melodic and thought-provoking rap music. 2) Proc is the Bronx-based experimental electronic project of Carlos Sterling.
