The Pro-Choice Televangelists were formed in 2021 when Elon University students Mason Carter and Grey Gaul realized they were both musically talented and mentally deranged. After many sleepless nights of recording demos, often under the influence of lamb liquid, the dynamic duo finally had enough material to create their first masterpiece… ABSTINENCE LLC. The album, though only 6 tracks long due to budget cuts and overfishing of the South China Sea, will allow the listener to do many things, including but not limited to: see the face of God, be sexually irresistible, drive a Lambo Chevy, and your mom. It was named after a famous living-learning community on Elon’s campus where everyone abstains from sex; a task that proved to be incredibly easy for Carter and Gaul given that they’d been doing it for 19 consecutive years. Critics might say that the album sounds “unmixed and unmastered.” This is only because ABSTINENCE LLC is indeed unmixed and unmastered, because Carter and Gaul couldn’t be bothered to give two shits. After the release of ABSTINENCE LLC, Carter and Gaul went on a cocaine-infused banger across the Piedmont Triad region; their whereabouts are currently unknown.
