Prisor Jazz Band consists out of steady musicians: Feigeli Prisor (lead guitar), Sendelo Schäfer(rhythm guitar), and Tchawo Adell (double bass) Since many years these musicians play inside their own Sinti-community in several, their different groups displaying.Tight rhythms and sensitive melodies are the hallmark of the Prisor Jazz Band. Feigeli Prisor solos on his quitar are not just dexterous virtiosity. This quitarist plays flawless, subtle and very completely. With Sendelo Schäfer on rhythm guitar and Tchawo Adell on the double bass, they build a tight rhythm section around the master lead guitarist. Sinti Music is impressed by the calmness that the Prisor Jazz Band puts in their music, which is also being appreciated by their audience. Full proof can be found listening to their debut album ‘Old Memories’, which was cheered about by many critics, e.g. Etude Tsiganes and Djangostation, two leading authorities in the field of Gipsy Jazz. Also their 2nd album ‘Gypsy’s Heart’ proved their virtuosity. We are proud of them. Their own sound gains them many invitations to festivals (inter)nationally, International Gipsy Guitar Festival (Gossington UK), Django Reinhardt Tribute (London UK), GipsyJazz Festival in New Caledonia (F) Breda Jazz, Jazz in Duketown and Sziget Festival Budapest to name a few.
